Application method

CHYSTONOS SPRAY

• To restore the functions of the nasal mucosa in acute and chronic disorders of nasal breathing – 4-6 times per day, 1-2 injections into each nasal passage.
• For the prevention of infections – 4-6 times per day, 2 injections into each nasal passage.
• To soften and remove nasal secretions, use 2-3 times per day by means of 2 injections in each nasal passage, until accumulations of nasal secretions deposited in the nasal passage are softened and removed.

CHYSTONOS SPRAY FOR CHILDREN

To restore functions of the nasal mucous membrane in case of acute and chronic disorders of nasal breathing:

• children from 3 years old – on the recommendation of a doctor;
• children from 6 to 9 years old – 2-4 times per day;
• children from 9 to 12 years old – 4-6 times per day, 2 injections.

To prevent infections:

• children from 3 years old – on the recommendation of a doctor;
• children from 6 to 9 years old – 2 times per day;
• children from 9 to 12 years old – 3-4 times per day, 1 injection.

To soften and remove nasal secretions, use 2-3 injections per day of 2 injections in each nasal passage, until accumulations of nasal secretions deposited in the nasal passage are softened and removed.

CHYSTONOS SPRAY. EFFECTIVE RINSING

Spray is used intranasally. Before the first use of the spray, you should press the dispenser several times until a stable spray appears. In order to prevent spread of infection, one bottle should not be used by several people. Usage by children is allowed only in the presence of adults.

To restore the physiological functions of the mucous membrane in case of acute and chronic disorders of nasal breathing:

• children from 3 years old – on the recommendation of a doctor;
• children from 6 years old and adults – 3-6 times per day, 1 injection in each nasal passage.

To prevent infections:

• children from 3 years old – on the recommendation of a doctor;
• children from 6 years old and adults – 1-3 times per day, 1 injection in each nasal passage.

To rinse the nasal cavity from secretions, use it for children from 3 years old (on the recommendation of a doctor), children from 6 years old and adults 2-3 times per day, 1 injection in each nasal passage, until accumulations of nasal secretions deposited in the nasal passage is softened and removed. 

THE PROCEDURE FOR USING THE NASAL SPRAY

1. Preparation:

• clean the nasal passages thoroughly;
• shake the bottle vigorously;
• remove the safety cap from it;
• make sure the dispenser is well connected.

2. For irrigation of the nasal mucosa:

• holding the bottle at any angle, carefully insert the tip into the nasal passage and press the dispenser once;
• during injection, take a light breath through your nose at the same time;
• repeat the procedure with another nasal passage;
• clean the nose from secretions by means carefully exhaling air through it;
• wash the dispenser tip with clean water, wipe it dry and close it with the safety cap.

3. For rinsing the nasal cavity: the procedure can be carried out both standing and sitting, preferably before eating.

• Get prepared for the procedure of rinsing the nose, as indicated in section 1. 
• Tilt your head to the left side and insert the spray tip into the right nasal passage. Hold your breath and press the dispenser once in order to make an injection.
• Tilt your head to the right side and insert the spray tip into the left nasal passage. Hold your breath and press the dispenser once  in order to make an injection.
• Do not tilt your head back to avoid the feeling of discomfort caused by accidental liquid entering the throat.
• After rinsing gently blow the nasal passages to free them of secretions.
• Wash the dispenser tip with clean water, wipe it dry and close it with the safety cap.
