Summarizing the results of a clinical study of oxolinic ointment... we can state that its application for individual prophylaxis in epidemic periods in 45-50% of cases prevents the disease with influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections, facilitates the course of viral infection in already sick people and helps to prevent complications*”.
